TFM Upholds the Vietnamese Montessori Spirit Through International Connections
On the morning of December 11, Tiny Flower Montessori School (TFM), in collaboration with Montessori Vietnam Education Center (MVEC), had the honor of hosting a special professional exchange with a delegation from the Montessori Association of Thailand (MAT).
The MAT delegation was led by Dr. Kannekar Butt, President of MAT, together with members of the Association’s leadership team and faculty.
Representing TFM were Educator Tran Thanh Hien, Principal of the school; Educator Tran Thi Tai Linh and Educator Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, members of the management team; along with several TFM teaching staff.
This visit and professional exchange between Tiny Flower Montessori School (TFM) and the Montessori Association of Thailand (MAT) was not merely a courtesy visit, but a meaningful opportunity for both sides to listen, engage in dialogue, and share Montessori practices that are being nurtured daily in the classroom.
During the classroom visits, the MAT delegation observed children working independently in carefully prepared environments that respect each child’s individual developmental rhythm. At the same time, in-depth discussions took place with Educator Tran Thanh Hien and the TFM management team, focusing on maintaining high standards of Montessori practice, developing the Montessori teacher community in Vietnam, and long-term directions for early childhood education in the context of international integration.
Representatives from MAT shared their deep impression of the classroom atmosphere at TFM—particularly the moments when children confidently greeted the visitors with warm smiles before gently returning to their work with focus and independence. These seemingly small moments clearly reflected the Montessori spirit being cultivated every day.
For TFM, this was a truly meaningful affirmation, as the school’s core commitment is to respect the natural pace of each child’s development—without rushing or pressure—so that every child can grow with confidence, independence, and inner peace.
TFM and MVEC deeply value international connections such as this, as each encounter is an opportunity to learn, exchange perspectives, and move closer together toward an educational environment that is professional, humane, and globally connected, while remaining harmonious with and rooted in Vietnamese culture.
We sincerely thank the Montessori Association of Thailand (MAT), Dr. Kannekar Butt, and all members of the delegation for taking the time to visit, share, and contribute to the spirit of connection and learning within the regional Montessori community.
