Journey to Discover Đầm Sen – Heartfelt Memories of the Tiny Flower Montessori Children

On November 27, 2024, the young learners of Tiny Flower Montessori embarked on a colorful and experiential journey at the Dam Sen Cultural Park. This was not just an ordinary field trip; it was a gateway to exploring nature, culture, and valuable lessons within an inspiring and fun-filled environment.

Exploring the Underwater World – The Enchanting Aquarium

The children stepped into the mesmerizing underwater world of the aquarium, where fascinating and rare marine creatures from around the globe were on display:

  • Blacktip reef sharks gracefully glided through the water, leaving a strong impression on the curious minds of the little explorers.
  • Vibrant species like the starry goby and regal angelfish, alongside endangered species such as the red-lipped batfish, Phu Quoc batfish, and sea cow, sparked their curiosity about the marine ecosystem.
  • Most notably, the majestic arapaima, a giant freshwater fish, captivated the children with its grandeur and awe-inspiring presence.
  • A Journey Into the “Miniature Desert” – The Black Cactus Garden

At the cactus garden, the children discovered over 300 species of cacti from all over the world:

  • Uniquely shaped cacti like old man cactus and granny cactus introduced the children to a fascinating world of plants.
  • The vibrant garden, filled with thousands of cacti of all shapes and sizes, provided an incredible opportunity for the young learners to marvel at the diversity of the plant kingdom.
  • The Friendly World of Birds and Animals

At the bird and animal sanctuary, the children got up close and personal with more than 80 bird species and 30 rare animals, all of which displayed their friendly nature:

  • Talking parrots, colorful peacocks, pheasants, and storks delighted the children with their vivid appearances.
  • Larger animals such as elephants, bears, pythons, tigers, and leopards enriched the children’s knowledge about the animal kingdom.

Thrilling Moments with Animal Performances and the Fairy Tale Train

The joy peaked when the children watched the animal performances, featuring:

  • Agile monkeys showcasing their talents on miniature bicycles.
  • An adorable classroom of well-trained, playful dogs that brought endless laughter.

Following this, the Fairy Tale Train took the children on a scenic tour around Dam Sen, allowing them to enjoy the natural landscapes and vast surroundings from a fresh perspective.

Unforgettable Fun at Diverse Play Zones

The exploration continued into modern play areas that captured the children’s excitement:

  • Kid Playground: A delightful space where children enjoyed ball pits, slides, and mazes.
  • Sea Lion Rapids: A thrilling water-based challenge for adventurous spirits.
  • Dinosaur Flight and Flying Horses: Whimsical rides that transported the children into an imaginative world.
  • Sharp Shooter Practice: Enhancing focus and precision through engaging shooting games.
  • Childhood Carousel and Angel Dance: Joyful rides illuminated by vibrant lights, creating moments of sheer happiness.

This excursion to Dam Sen offered more than just a day of fun—it provided invaluable learning experiences:
