Dear Parents,
The ages of 3 to 6 mark an exciting milestone in a child's developmental journey. During this stage, children enter what Dr. Maria Montessori described as the period of the conscious Absorbent Mind. Rather than absorbing their environment unconsciously, children become active explorers—eager to do things independently, ask questions, and discover how and why the world works.
At Tiny Flower Montessori School (TFM), our Ages 3–6 Program is inspired by the authentic Montessori concept of the Casa dei Bambini (Children's House)—a carefully prepared community where respect, freedom within limits, and kindness guide every child's learning experience.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed around the five core areas of Montessori education:
- Practical Life
- Sensorial
- Language
- Mathematics
- Culture (including Science, History, Geography, and the Arts)
Through carefully sequenced lessons and hands-on experiences with authentic Montessori materials, children develop deep concentration, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and independence. More importantly, they cultivate confidence, social responsibility, collaboration, and a genuine love of learning that will support them throughout life.
