The Vietnamese Montessori Language Materials Project has officially marked another meaningful milestone in the journey of developing Montessori education for Vietnamese children. This achievement is not only a source of pride for the project team, but also a positive signal for the standardization of the Vietnamese mother tongue within Montessori environments aligned with international orientation.
The journey of developing these learning materials has been one of serious research, continuous experimentation, and constant refinement to find the most natural, visual, and accessible ways for children to approach the Vietnamese language. Every detail of the materials has been created with the aspiration to respect the linguistic characteristics, cultural identity, and developmental needs of Vietnamese children in the true spirit of Montessori education.
Vietnamese is not merely a means of communication; it is also the foundation through which children develop thinking, emotions, and cultural identity from their earliest years. For this reason, the project was established with the goal of contributing to the development of language materials and educational resources that are suitable for Vietnamese children in the context of modern education and international integration.
Throughout the implementation process, the project has received professional support from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), MTCNE Training Center, AMI Montessori trainers, linguistics experts, educators, and both local and international partners experienced in developing language programs for children in various countries.
In particular, the materials have been observed, applied, and continuously refined in practice at Tiny Flower Montessori School (TFM) — an institution licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to implement the Montessori program in Vietnam.
We believe that developing Montessori materials in Vietnamese is not only about creating educational resources, but also about preserving the beauty of our mother tongue and sharing Vietnamese cultural values with children across diverse learning environments.
The companionship, trust, and support from parents, teachers, and the educational community continue to be the motivation for the project to further improve and grow stronger in the years ahead.
We sincerely thank you for always accompanying us on this meaningful journey.
