A beautiful milestone in the journey of spreading Montessori education values through the Vietnamese language.
Behind every set of learning materials lies an immense amount of research, testing, refinement, and perseverance to find the best way for children to approach Vietnamese naturally, intuitively, and meaningfully in the true Montessori spirit.
A mother tongue plays a foundational role in shaping a child’s thinking, personality, and cultural identity. For Vietnamese children, Vietnamese is not only a means of communication but also the very first bridge that connects them to the world around them and to themselves. With the aspiration to help build a strong linguistic foundation for Vietnamese children, the Vietnamese Montessori Language Materials Project was established and developed as a pioneering initiative in researching and creating language materials tailored to the characteristics of Vietnamese language and culture.
Throughout the research and implementation process, the project has received valuable professional guidance and support from:
The project has also been observed, tested, and continuously refined in practice at Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM), a school officially licensed by Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training to implement the Montessori education program.
We have always believed that Vietnamese is not merely a language, but also a culture, an emotion, and a source of early values that nurture children every day. Therefore, developing Montessori materials in Vietnamese is not simply about creating educational products; it is also a journey of preserving and spreading the beauty of the mother tongue to more children, including those in international environments.
Recognition from the media is a great honor, but more importantly, it serves as motivation for us to continue improving, innovating, and contributing greater value to the Vietnamese Montessori education community.
We sincerely thank all parents, teachers, and companions who have continuously trusted, supported, and contributed to helping this journey go further every day.
