TET DOAN NGO FESTIVAL AT TINY FLOWER MONTESSORI – A CELEBRATION OF VIETNAMESE TRADITIONS
This year's Dragon Boat Festival at Tiny Flower Montessori became a colorful and meaningful learning journey for our little ones.
Amid the joyful atmosphere of this traditional celebration, the children explored the beauty of Vietnamese culture through a variety of engaging activities. From learning about the significance of the Dragon Boat Festival and arranging five-fruit trays to making their own sweet glutinous rice balls, every experience brought smiles, excitement, and valuable lessons.
Little hands carefully rolled soft dough into round, delicate rice balls.
Colorful five-fruit trays were thoughtfully arranged by the children themselves.
Stories about this traditional festival were shared by teachers with warmth, care, and enthusiasm.
More than just a special event, these activities provided opportunities for children to develop fine motor skills, patience, creativity, and coordination, while fostering an appreciation for Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.
At Tiny Flower Montessori, we believe that hands-on experiences are the most meaningful way for children to understand, connect with, and take pride in their roots.
Thank you to our wonderful children for making this Dragon Boat Festival celebration so joyful, memorable, and full of laughter!
