Saturday Program: Physical Activity - Cultivating Health, Well - Being, and Spirt for children

Dear Parents, At Tiny Flower Montessori, we understand that holistic development for children is nurtured not only through knowledge but also through the cultivation of physical and mental well-being. This is why our Saturday program, “Physical Activity,” is thoughtfully designed as a special gift where children can engage in movement, build healthy habits, develop social skills, and experience the joy of exercise.

Benefits of the Physical Activity Program

1. Enhancing Physical Health

  • Exercises such as running, ball games, tug-of-war, and jump rope help strengthen children’s endurance, muscle, and bone development.
  • Regular physical activity improves the immune system, helping children stay healthier and reducing the risk of minor illnesses.

2. Promoting a Positive Mindset

  • Physical activity releases positive energy, reducing stress and creating a sense of joy and relaxation.
  • The laughter shared with friends during games acts as an excellent mental boost for children.

3. Developing Social Skills

  • Group activities teach children cooperation, sharing, and teamwork.
  • Through team games, children learn to listen, encourage, and cheer for one another – invaluable lessons for their future.

4. Instilling Discipline and Focus

  • Children learn to follow rules, persevere through challenges, and avoid giving up halfway.
  • Physical exercises also help children build determination and improve their ability to concentrate.
