Activity: Paper Collage

The paper collage activity is part of the art curriculum within the sensory area. It is an engaging activity that encourages children to explore their sense of color, shape, texture, and fine motor coordination.

Paper collage requires children to use their hands and fingers to grasp, stick, and adjust pieces of paper, enhancing their hand-eye coordination.

By working with various pieces of paper differing in color, shape, and texture, children can develop visual and tactile awareness.

Creating images with paper expands a child's creative abilities and provides a medium for expressing personal emotions.

The paper collage activity in the Montessori program not only strengthens fine motor skills but also allows children to experience colors, shapes, and textures in diverse ways. Through this process, children learn to express themselves and explore the world creatively and joyfully.

Sincerely,
Tiny Flower Montessori
